Icon Fifty-five
Out of stock
The second of my somewhat opinionated iconic pipe shapes.
Although this one is not that difficult to carve, I find the shape fascinating because of the variations that exist. From minute to enormous, from chinless to jutting jaw, from smooth, rusticated or blasted, from slightly bent to curved almost to deformity, every carver has tried his hand at it.
Many might consider it ugly, but only until they load it with tobacco and light up. Then it becomes a thing of beauty.
