Icon Billiard
Out of stock
To my mind, there is no more of an iconic shape than a straight billiard. In one of his many ideas on the ideal shape, Sixten Ivarsson argues that the walls of a pipe bowl, all around, should be as uniform in thickness as is possible. The result is an equal distribution of heat, with very little chance of a hot-spot forming where the wall is thinnest.
Fancy shapes are fine and nice to look at, but a straight billiard, with its even distribution of wall thickness, comes as close to the ultimate tool for burning tobacco as we might hope to attain.
Add to that the tactile feel of a sand-blast and it can only mean one thing – bliss!
