One pipe carver, working alone, can never be compared to the 400,000 engineers from 20,000 companies who worked tirelessly to meet JFK’s challenge for the Apollo 11 mission and yet that one lone pipe carver can draw inspiration from these immortal words and try to do the other thing, not because it is easy, but because it is hard.

The hawkbill shape is hard. It is a challenge drilling it whilst still maintaining the iconic shape. I tried and maybe I succeeded and maybe it was too hard.
